What is offered here
This site introduces Escaquia and lets you play World 1 in the browser, with nothing to install and no account. The full app is not yet published in the stores; what is announced here is an intention, not a commitment to a date.
The demo is offered as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. It may change or stop being reachable while the product is being finished.
Appropriate use
The demo may be used freely, at home and in the classroom, including projection in class. Reselling access, presenting it as your own or extracting its content for separate redistribution is not permitted.
Content and ownership
The texts, illustrations, squires, narration and chess curriculum are the project's work and are protected by copyright. The Baloo 2 and Nunito typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Chess itself, its rules and the classic positions belong to nobody: what is protected is the particular way they are told here.
Children
The app is aimed at children aged 4 to 8, which is why it neither asks for nor stores their data. The waiting list is meant for a grown-up: by signing up you state that you are of legal age.
